Helping the Forgotten
SGA helps the forgotten of Russia, the former Soviet countries of Eastern Europe, and Central Asia by caring for the physical needs of the poor, distressed, and dispirited. Our ministries not only provide vital life essentials, they also help open the door for missionary pastors and other church workers to share the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Next to Missionary Pastors this is our second greatest involvement. It covers many of the projects we partner with …

Orphans Reborn

Decades of atheism and communism in Slavic nations have destroyed generations of families. Orphaned and at-risk children need our help before it’s too late.

A long-term programme focuses on reaching orphanages with Christmas Story and gifts as well as having follow-up meetings during the year.

Orphan Graduates

Support is needed for those leaving the orphanages at ages from 16-18. Did you know, men wait outside the orphanages to pick up the girls and put them in brothels, gangs and mafia also try to pick up the boys.

Who can they turn to? Those loving, caring and trustworthy Christians who have been bringing them humanitarian aid and showing them God’s love.

60 Orphan Graduates are now working with the teams going back into the orphanages.

Feeding Children in Poverty

In Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, we support several churches with funds to enable them to supply food and clothes to children who have alcoholic parents, often just one parent, and without food from the churches they would be starving. Some of the children grew and became committed Christians and are now actively helping churches to continue the good work.

Widows and Medical

“Widows in Winter” – Food parcels funded before Christmas

Urgent Medical expenses provided as needs arise

Drug Rehabilitation Centres

We support this ministry in Russia (Krasnoyarsk), Georgia and Ukraine.
